Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use nexcord.cc and a NEXCORD account. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't create an account.

NEXCORD is in development

NEXCORD is being built. Right now an account lets you reserve a username and manage your profile and sign-in security; the NEXCORD app isn't publicly available yet. Features will be added and changed, and some may be removed. We'll try to keep the service available but can't promise it will always be.

Your account

• You must be at least 13, or the minimum age where you live if that's higher.
• Give a real email address that you control, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Don't create accounts automatically or in bulk, and don't sell or transfer accounts or usernames.
• If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and sign out every device from your account page, and tell us at support@nexcord.cc.

Usernames and profiles

Usernames are first come, first served. We may reclaim or change a username or profile text that impersonates someone, infringes someone's rights, is offensive, or was registered to sell or squat on a name. Some names (like "admin" or "support") are reserved.

Acceptable use

Don't use NEXCORD to:

• harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone;
• post or share anything illegal, including content that sexualizes minors;
• send spam, scams or malware;
• try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours, probe or overload the service, or get around its limits and security;
• break the law or encourage others to.

If you find a security problem, please report it privately to support@nexcord.cc instead of using it.

Your content

What you put in your profile stays yours. You give NEXCORD permission to store and show it as needed to run the service, for as long as it's on NEXCORD.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page; it's removed 7 days later, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put other people or the service at risk. Where it's safe and reasonable, we'll tell you why.

No guarantees

NEXCORD is provided as it is, while it's being developed, without promises that it will be error-free or always available, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes to these terms

We'll post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change significantly affects you, we'll email account holders before it applies. Using NEXCORD after a change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can delete your account.
